Tour de Arctic

Tour de Arctic (2012) is an interactive sound installation at the top of the world: If you don´t pedal, there is no sound. The faster you pedal, the faster the music is played, and the slower you pedal, the slower the tunes are performed. One bicycle performs the National Anthem of Norway, the other performs the central North-Norwegian tune «Barndomsminne frå Nordland», a melancholic and romanticizing tribute to the nature of the North.
